Prior to having her first novel, A Life to Di For, published author Kay Kellam enjoyed a variety of jobs that helped to shape her outlook on the world, and her profession. After working every summer through high school and college at a public relations firm she graduated and decided to try something less likely to mean 8 hours a day behind a desk. First she worked on the set of the TV Show Renegade where she was mentored by Stephen J. Cannell, worked behind the scenes on a Burt Reynolds film in addition to several independent films aimed for the film festival tour. Then she decided to get a steady pay check and spent most of a year working on cruise ships. It is this variety of experiences and world view that she brings to her writing.
