Don't feel too bad for Scott Foley after hearing A.U.S.A didn't get picked up -- his career is still alive and well!

NBC has announced that Scott Foley (“Felicity”) will return to NBC’s hit comedy “Scrubs” to reprise his role as Sean Kelley, a former love interest of the ambitious but awkward medical resident Elliot Reid (Sarah Chalke). Foley will appear in six episodes beginning with the series’ season premiere this fall.

“I can’t tell you how lucky we are,” said Lawrence. “We were sitting around saying we need to get a Scott Foley type to do this arc on the show, then he actually agreed to do it.”

Foley first appeared on “Scrubs” for two episodes during the series’ debut season, charming audiences with his portrayal of Sean Kelley, a fumbling, insecure patient who developed a crush on his doctor, Elliot (Chalke). Although Sean and Elliot’s shared social clumsiness made them seem perfectly suited for each other, their relationship hit a roadblock when Elliot’s ambition and dedication to her work led her believe that she did not have time for a relationship. This time around, Elliot’s outlook on love and life has changed and when Sean comes back on the scene, she tries to convince him to give her another chance.

In addition to his upcoming appearance on “Scrubs,” Foley is preparing for his role in Manhattan Theatre Club’s production of “The Violet Hour” on Broadway this fall. Most recently, Foley starred in and was a producer on the sitcom “A.U.S.A.” for NBC. However, he is still best known to audiences for his portrayal of Noel, an aspiring graphic designer, on the WB series “Felicity.” During his tenure there he also worked as a director at the helm of a promo for the WB as well as episodes of the fourth season of “Felicity.” His other television credits include “Zoe, Duncan, Jack & Jane” and co-starring role in the television film “Crowned and Dangerous.” He has appeared in several feature-films including “Below,” “Rennie’s Landing” and “Scream 3.”

With Daredevil coming on DVD July 29 it sparks one very important thought -- Alias Season 1 will be out on DVD Sept. 2! Making this not only a very Colin summer (Colin Farrell's movie Phone Booth will be out on DVD July 9, and his film SWAT will be in theaters in August) but also a very Jen summer!

And for you TV Viewers, if you want to see TV and its most unusual, check out Passions!

As NBC puts it:
The typical soap opera tapes an episode a day about 250 days a year. In a sequence airing on June 27, “Passions” proves once again that it's anything but a typical soap opera. In an elaborate musical homage to the Academy Award® winning motion picture "Chicago," viewers of NBC's Emmy® winning “Passions” will be treated to a true Broadway-style revue that reflects weeks of planning and outstanding creative contributions from some of the industry's best designers, choreographers, dancers, directors and composers. In order to make this song-and-dance routine a reality, the routines of soap opera production were completely reinvented.

The sequence, which involves three cast members, six Broadway dancers and an orangutan, opens with the character of Mrs. Wallace (Emmy® winning actress Kathleen Noone) becoming convinced that she, her companion Precious (BamBam the orangutan), her psychotic daughter Beth (Kelli McCarty) and her friend Charlie (Jordan Baker), are headed for the slammer for kidnapping heiress Sheridan Crane (McKenzie Westmore).

"When Jim Reilly first proposed the idea of a musical production number, I knew we weren't going to be able to do it halfway - we were going to have to really pull out all the stops," said Executive Producer Lisa de Cazotte. "Jim wanted our own version of the famous cellblock tango from Chicago but with the kind of “Passions” twist only Jim can deliver. I couldn't have been happier with how it came out and I think the audience will enjoy seeing a whole different side of our talented cast. Everyone involved was so committed to making it a truly memorable moment for our audience - and I hope they will enjoy the journey as much as we enjoyed bringing Jim's vision to life."
