BECKER IS CAUGHT IN A LOVE TRIANGLE AND IS FORCED TO CHOOSE BETWEEN REGGIE AND CHRIS, ON THE FIFTH-SEASON PREMIERE OF "BECKER," IN ITS NEW TIME PERIOD SUNDAY, OCTOBER 6 ON THE CBS TELEVISION NETWORK

"Someone's In The Kitchen With Reggie" -- Becker's feelings for Reggie and Chris get him in hot water, on the fifth-season premiere of BECKER in its new time period, Sunday, Oct. 6 (8:00-8:30 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.  Andy Ackerman directed the episode from a script by Kate Angelo.

           When Jake catches Becker trying to sneak out of the diner after an evening with Reggie, Becker explains to him that he is stuck between his feelings for Reggie and his newfound interest in Chris.  Meanwhile, Margaret is at her wits end dealing with Linda's ongoing antics.

            Multiple Emmy Award-winner Ted Danson stars as Dr. John Becker, a dedicated and talented physician extremely devoted to his medical practice in the Bronx, N.Y.  However, because Dr. Becker looks at the world around him and sees a society gone mad, he has no qualms about saying anything that comes to mind -- anything.  The surly doctor often unleashes his views on his friends – Jake (Alex Desert), the blind proprietor of the local newsstand; Bob (Saverio Guerra), the annoying yet likable super of Becker's apartment building; head nurse Margaret (Hattie Winston); and Linda (Shawnee Smith), the slightly ditzy nurse's aide. Becker must also deal with new neighbor Chris Conner (Nancy Travis), who could soon become a love interest.  Dealing with the acerbic doctor can be quite the experience, as his friends and colleagues will attest, but even though they're often on the receiving end of many of his insults they continue to stick around knowing there's a nice guy buried down inside… somewhere.
